So it's a well known fact that fruit is a super important part of your diet, and it's super tasty too, but sometimes it can be a bit boring- here's some ways to make it nicer and which flavours go with what.
- Make fruit salad
- Make home-made sorbets
- Dip sliced fruit in melted chocolate, chocolate spread or honey
- Melt some peanut butter and drizzle on top of cut up fruit
- Make parfait (in the glass add a spoonful of yoghurt, layer on some granola then add in layers of your favourite fruit with more yoghurt + granola
Apple ~ in winter slice one up and add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, then microwave for 30 seconds- this is amazing for a cold day, with a cup of tea, it's perfectos.
~ dice up into really small pieces and mix in with some yoghurt
~ Use an apple corer to de-core the apple then cut off the tops and cut into two halves. Add on a thick spreading of peanut butter/jam/jelly/honey/nutella and sprinkle of some cocont flakes, mixed nuts, raisins or even if you to melt some chocolate and spread that over the top. Much healthier than a doughnut!
Pears ~ halve a pear and drizzle it in honey and sprinkle sugar on top, microwave for 1 minute and you have a super tasty treat.
~Mash it up, it's so easy and stops it from getting all sitcky on your hands.
Banana~ split a banana, put a scoop of icecream in the middle and add all your favourite toppings- now you're including fruit in your desserts!
~ Halve a banana through the middle and then halve lengthways. Melt your favourite chocolate (you can do this by putting it in the microwave for 20 secs, stirring, another 20 secs, stirring and then until smooth) and dip the bananas until completely covered. Place of wooden skewers or lollipop stick and put in the freezer for a few hours until the chocolate has completely hardened. Banana popsicles!

Oranges~ Squeeeze out the juice and drink!
~ Make orange jelly/jello and mix in the segments with the mixture before you let it set, this is soo good!
